This item goes round the stage cylinder or any cylinder for attaching reels, spools or connecting it to yourself via double-end piston clips.

The idea of having the D Ring welded to the stage clip is that when you are attaching reels or your stage cylinders to the D Ring, it prevents the D Ring folding backwards or forwards when you are removing or attaching pieces of equipment.
